SAAAC builds inclusive communities through culturally responsible autism practices and accessible Programming. 300 Families are supported by SAAAC’s programs annually. The modern learning centre at SAAAC encompasses 11,000 Sq.FT. Over 150 Volunteers are empowered through training at SAAAC.
Our Contribution
- We provided our support to the SAAAC foundation through financial support.
- Monakko made a 3 year commitment to donate.
- On top of providing financial support, Monakko lent a helping hand with our expertise in renovation and building. Throughout our partnership with SAAAC, we demolished an existing location and built out a space that was brand new which met the needs of families and their children on the spectrum.
Empowering Entrepreneurship
- The Canadian Tamils’ Chamber of Commerce (“CTCC”) was established as a voluntary non-profit, non-sectarian, non-sectional organization in 1991 to “develop and foster entrepreneurship”. For over 25 years, CTCC has built a strong community that consists of innovative, successful and passionate individuals who continue to lead the approximately 500,000 strong Canadian Tamil community to success.
- As community partners, we contributed financially and expertise to the development and purchase of a new state of the art office building for the CTCC.
